Theatre Anaesthetic Recovery Nurse
Delivering high-quality patient care requires a unique blend of skills, knowledge, and experience. This role involves assisting in various surgical specialties, including orthopaedic, general, ophthalmology, gynae, ENT, pain management, urology, and vascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals during operations
* Develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to clinical areas
* Precept students, mentor new staff, and support colleagues
* Liaise with educational institutions to ensure seamless integration of theoretical and practical learning
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse qualification in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the relevant nursing authority
* Experience in theatre nursing, preferably in a multidisciplinary team environment
* Knowledge of relevant disciplines including Infection Control, Quality and Risk Management, and Health & Safety
* Personal competencies including time management, ability to act quickly, and maintain a professional portfolio
