They are now seeking an experiencedOperational Risk Managerto help strengthen their governance and risk framework. This is an outstanding opportunity for a risk professional with a solid track record who is ready to step into a leadership role with genuine influence and impact.The RoleAsOperational Risk Manager,you will design and maintain frameworks, systems and controls to ensure operational risks are effectively identified, monitored and managed. You will work closely with senior leaders across the business, contribute to board reporting, and provide challenge and oversight to key delegates and service providers.This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of the incident and error process, oversee resilience planning, and ensure policies and procedures remain current and fit for purpose. You will also support both the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer on key projects and the wider implementation of the risk management framework.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the operational risk function, including incident management and reportingProvide oversight and challenge of delegated activities and service providersMaintain and update operational risk policies and proceduresContribute to board reporting and risk committee discussionsOversee resilience planning and ensure regulatory obligations are metBuild strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholdersKeep abreast of regulatory developments and emerging risksAbout YouAt least 5 years' experience in operational risk or a related control function within financial servicesA relevant professional qualification or degree (or equivalent experience)Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levelsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentA proactive, collaborative mindset and strong critical thinking skillsWhy Join?You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where risk management is integral to the success of the business.
