The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Limerick.
This is a hands-on role that blends data engineering, analysis, and visualization to unlock insights that drive performance improvements for our clients and enhance our SaaS platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Connect and integrate data from various client systems to identify operational performance trends and insights.
Develop dynamic and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Write and optimize SQL queries to prepare datasets for visualization.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from data warehouses into reporting layers.
Collaborate with software developers to embed analytics into our proprietary SaaS solutions.
Identify data patterns and trends that influence business decisions.
Streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes for efficiency and scalability.
Define, generate, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Engage directly with clients to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights that improve user experience and business outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Power Query—must be demonstrated with real-world examples.
Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying and transformation.
Solid understanding of ETL workflows and best practices in data management.
Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and their application in business analytics.
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including its integration across the Power Platform, and Azure components, for end-to-end data engineering and analytics workflows.
Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure is an advantage.
Background in Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations is a strong plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and communicate findings clearly.
Proven ability to translate complex datasets into intuitive visualizations for diverse stakeholders.
Experience leading data projects and mentoring junior team members in analytics and reporting best practices.
Self-driven, adaptable, and effective in cross-functional team settings.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Limerick
