Job Overview
Our client is searching for a Senior Ecologist to join the expanding Ecology Team.
This role provides the opportunity to contribute to nationally recognised projects and studies across a diverse range of private and public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead teams in field data collection.
Prepare Biodiversity and Ornithology chapters for EIARs, EcIA reports, and AA/NIS/NIR reporting.
Design and implement ecological surveys.
Analyse data to complete impact assessments.
Qualifications
Relevant primary degree in Ecology or Environmental Biology (additional qualifications preferred).
7-10 years of environmental consultancy experience.
Proven ecological field skills.
Experience drafting EIAR chapters, AA screening, and NIS reports.
Familiarity with GIS systems (e.g., ArcGIS); CIEEM membership preferred.
Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
Physically fit for fieldwork.
Full driving licence.
