Key Responsibilities
Mechanical & System Design: Assist in designing mechanical components, custom fixtures, and pneumatic/hydraulic layouts for automated machinery using 3D CAD software.
Testing & Prototyping: Participate in assembling, wiring, testing, and commissioning prototype automation cells and machinery.
Data & Diagnostics: Assist in troubleshooting electro-mechanical system failures, analyzing sensor data, and implementing corrective actions to optimize machine uptime.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Educational Background
Recent Graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Technical Skills (Familiarity/Academic Experience)
CAD Design: Academic experience with 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD.
Automation Fundamentals: Basic understanding of PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley), sensors, actuators, motors, and pneumatic systems.
Coding/Logic: Familiarity with basic programming logic or languages used in industrial automation (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Python, or C++).
Hands-on Aptitude: Comfort working with tools and test equipment (multimeters, hand tools) to troubleshoot physical hardware.
