Job Title: Mechanical Construction Manager
The successful candidate will supervise and manage daily mechanical construction activities on the project. This includes planning, developing, and organizing the mechanical construction process to create a cost-effective plan, ensuring timely completion within budget, and overseeing its execution.
Key responsibilities include executing the scope of work related to construction/fabrication and pre-commissioning in line with the approved project schedule. Additionally, the individual must monitor and report project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, to the Project Manager promptly.
Adherence to Safety, EHS, and Quality Standards is essential in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
This role involves managing site design and mechanical construction processes. Closeout of mechanical snags in a timely manner for effective project handover is also a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have a background in a relevant trade or engineering discipline and possess over 5 years of industry experience.
Previous work with a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor in Ireland or the UK, ideally on Industrial or Pharmaceutical projects, is preferred.
A strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC and building services design, is necessary.
Experience of piping systems installation is highly desirable.
Proven ability to manage both people and programs is required, along with clear communication skills with all stakeholders.
