About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on large-scale applications, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, design, execute, and analyze performance testing strategies.
* Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and tools.
* Identify and troubleshoot application performance issues, working closely with development teams to implement solutions.
* Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
* Support the triage of production performance issues.
* Mentor junior team members and review their work.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* 10+ years of industry experience in performance engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity.
* Hands-on experience with LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter, Selenium, or similar tools.
* Strong knowledge of APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
* Proven experience analyzing performance for Java applications, containerized/serverless environments, databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB), and JavaScript-based front ends.
* Solid understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
* Experience with AWS and integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
* Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python or Go, SQL, and version control tools such as GIT or Bitbucket.
