Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our project implementation from pre-sales customer engagement through to successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the IT industry, strong customer-facing capabilities, and a proven ability to analyze business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Gaining in-depth knowledge of our services, functional capabilities, and the domain they operate in.
* Supporting pre-sales activities including services presentations and demonstrations in coordination with sales teams.
* Performing business requirement gathering/analysis and project management through to delivery, completed while utilizing PM best practices.
* Maintaining project documentation (milestones, issue logs, etc.).
* Creating statement of work, standard operating procedures, and internal cost documentation as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in a project management role in the IT industry.
* Experience of all project management knowledge areas, particularly customer engagement, scope/time & risk management, budget/costing, communication & quality.
* Strong working knowledge of PMP or PRINCE 2 and practical experience of same.
* Strong competency in MS Office tools and project management applications.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
* Enthusiasm for new challenges.
* Excellent command of the English language - strong verbal and written skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Full SDLC experience and familiarity with agile methodology.
* Experience of implementing PM best practices in terms of software engineering and customer interaction.
