Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing various aspects of a construction project. The successful candidate will be required to possess strong engineering skills, excellent IT abilities as well as knowledge of surveying equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist the construction management team in on-site control of building elements.
* Set out, level and quality control concrete including cube sampling and slump testing.
* Check shuttering, steel and other dimensions before concrete pours and maintain materials reconciliation files.
The Site Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that construction projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills are essential qualities needed to excel in this challenging role.
