As Senior Financial Accountant, you will work on a hybrid basis with 2 to 3 days in the office. You will be responsible for producing high-quality financial reports, managing client relationships, and working closely with clients as their in-house accountant.
* Prepare management accounts, VAT returns, statutory financial statements, reconciliations, bookkeeping projects, secondment roles, forecasting, budgeting, and other departmental projects.
* Plan, schedule, and oversee client projects to ensure compliance with deadlines.
* Manage a varied client portfolio.
* Deliver high-quality services within expected timeframes and budgets.
* Apply technical expertise and a thorough understanding of accounting standards, particularly FRS 102.
* Coordinate with external stakeholders, including auditors, during the year-end audit process for individual clients.
* Build strong relationships with client representatives.
* Manage client service delivery expectations.
* Promote an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment and mentor junior team members.
Key qualifications include being a qualified accountant (ACA, Chartered, CPA, ACCA) with experience working in an Irish-based Accounting Practice. The ideal candidate is ambitious, has good communication skills, and can thrive in a close-knit team environment.
