Morson Edge is representing our client in this search to identify an energetic, execution-focused Project Manager to join a rapidly growing Irish division.

Operating as a newly formed, agile subsidiary backed by a powerful European parent group, their Irish operations focus on the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of utility-scale Solar PV projects and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Job Context
This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role ideal for a proactive and resourceful doer. Sitting within a close-knit, fast-growing team and reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will manage utility-scale projects completely from the tender stage through to client handover. This role requires high flexibility, excellent commercial acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally across procurement, logistics, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Delivery: Oversee all phases of the project life cycle-including contract award, planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final client handover.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for customers, sub-contractors, and suppliers, while collaborating closely with internal engineering and procurement teams.
Commercial & Contracts Management: Diligently manage contracts, variations, and claims to safeguard project integrity and ensure compliance with standard terms.
Financial Oversight: Closely monitor project timelines, budgets, costs, and cash flows to maintain optimal financial health.
Supply Chain Management: Directly manage external partners to ensure the punctual delivery of critical components and site services.
Reporting: Prepare and present clear progress reports and milestone updates directly to the Country Manager and senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
Experience working as a Cost Engineer or Quantity Surveyor (QS) is highly desirable (familiarity with CESMM is a plus).
A minimum of 3 years' professional experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects within the renewable energy, power, or civil engineering sectors (Solar PV or Wind experience is heavily preferred).
Strong working knowledge of contract management and standard forms (e.g., FIDIC) alongside familiarity with frameworks like PRINCE2, PMBOK, or Agile.
Skills & Mindset
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Outstanding negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Asana) and MS Office.
