Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As a Technical Lead Cloud Architect, Senior Manager within our MS Azure Alliances team, you'll work within Technology & Digital Consulting to mentor and guide a team of problem solvers, leveraging emerging cloud technology and services to solve complex business challenges from strategy to execution.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead technical teams participating in multiple concurrent cloud focused projects for our clients
2. Gathering and assessing client requirements, and translating these into solution requirements and design
3. Collaborate with cross functional team members to develop and propose cloud based solutions to existing and potential clients
4. Develop reference architectures and best practice approaches to optimise clients’ cloud adoption, application performance, security, and cost models
5. Manage and grow a collection of new and existing client relationships
6. Offer technical and go to market leadership focused on asset driven cloud based solutions and services, collaborate and lead development focused teams members to bring cloud based solutions to market
7. Build and nurture a highly skilled cloud engineering team, provide coaching and foster an environment where technical professionals can develop their skills and grow their careers; taking on increased responsibility and adding value to the organisation
8. Lead initiatives identified to shape the foundation for the cloud engineering practice, refine resource requirements, project workflow, operating budget requirements
9. Develop new and existing internal and external client relationships leveraging innovative methodologies, practices, tools and assets to address key market trends and challenges
10. Help others think critically and educate non-technical audiences and stakeholders on complex technical solutions both orally and in writing
11. Be a active member in the technology community, provide thought leadership and mentorship, share your knowledge and expertise
12. Collaborate with senior leadership to define, develop and implement the strategic direction and focus on emerging enterprise cloud transformation services
13. Continue to advance your skills, knowledge and network through certification related to your field
Experiences and skills
14. At least 7 years experience in the field of cloud computing.
15. Certifications from one or more key cloud providers e.g. Azure Solutions Architect.
16. Knowledge of high availability architecture and cost optimisation.
17. Experience leading high performing teams in the creation of ‘cloud first’ technology solutions.
18. Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate the rationale behind architectural decisions to a broad set of stakeholders.
19. Experience of advising clients on cloud service models post migration/transformation and ongoing application and Infrastructure support and maintenance models.
