The successful candidate will work on a variety of structural projects, from initial concept design through to construction.This role offers excellent career progression opportunities, with the chance to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with experienced professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze structural elements in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.Develop and review structural calculations, drawings, and reports.Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, Eurocodes, and industry standards.Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to monitor construction progress.Provide technical input on feasibility studies and planning applications.Support senior engineers and project managers in the successful delivery of projects.Assist in mentoring junior engineers and graduates.Key RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Minimum 3+ years of experience in structural design.Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with Engineers Ireland is an advantage.Proficiency in structural design software such as Tekla, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, Irish Building Regulations, and Health & Safety standards.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.Salary: Competitive Sector: Civil & Structural Engineering Contract Type: Permanent Town/City: Cork
