This Work Placement Experience Programme provides participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. The programme is for jobseekers who receive qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Eligibility will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.
Job Description
Position: Business Administration Support Role, based in our offices in Convoy, Co. Donegal.
Responsibilities include:

Maintain strict confidentiality of all staff and service user information
Perform secretarial and clerical duties as required by the Registered Nurse, Business Manager, and Home Manager
Provide secretarial and clerical support to the Manager
Provide a high level of support and administration using Google Drive and the electronic care system
Update service user information and process orders for the company, including stationery orders
Assist with monthly invoice preparation, manage petty cash and receipts/invoices
Ensure that the filing system is maintained accurately and promptly
Maintain and update staff recruitment files and training records, organise training and manage the calendar
Take minutes at meetings
Update company policies and procedures under the supervision of the Manager
Schedule staff appraisals and supervisions, coordinate staff training, and update training databases
Provide support to the Manager in preparation for reviews and meetings

Role Description
This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience required.
Formal training will be provided in the following areas:

Health and safety
Google Workspace
IT systems
Payroll
Google Workspace spreadsheets, documents, training videos
ECMS (Care Management System)
General office administration
HR policies & procedures
Customer service
Teamwork

Sector: human health and social work activities.
Career level: Not required.
Candidate Requirements

Minimum experience required: 0 years
Applicants should provide suitable character references and complete a Garda vetting application form.
