Environmental Worker - Granagh Development Group
Eligibility to participate is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Eligibility will be verified by the Department. To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre. Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity; no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Duties include:
* You will be working in the communities of Granagh.
* Maintenance and upkeep of specified green areas and graveyards.
* Some painting and plant care/maintenance as agreed with the CE Supervisor.
* On-the-job training and relevant work-related courses, including Health & Safety training.
* No specific skills requirements beyond motivation and commitment to perform to the highest standard and to participate in all training organized for you.
