Building Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Specialist to join our project delivery team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in the management and implementation of building services projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all electrical/mechanical activities, ensuring that resources are managed efficiently and quality standards are upheld. You will work closely with project managers and subcontractors to coordinate design information, manage project delivery cycles, and implement MEP services IPEM management plans.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise to drive project success. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, lift, and technical specialists subcontractors.

To be successful in this position, you must possess excellent IT skills, a Mechanical/Electrical third-level qualification, and at least 5 years of experience in building services coordination. Previous main contractor experience is preferred, ideally with project experience.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage & Coordinate all phases of the MEP Services project delivery cycle
* Coordinate Design team information & details in time for project delivery activities
* Ensure implementation of the MEPL Services IPEP Management plan
* Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical, Sprinkler, Lifts & Technical Specialists Sub-Contractors
* Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest level of Safety
* Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of approved Quality plan
* Monitor Programmes & review installation progress
* Ensure design compliance & commissioning achievement with all documents collated and O & M Manual's development

Requirements:
* Mechanical/Electrical Third level qualification
* 5 years' experience in building services co-ordination
* Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally project experience
* Excellent IT skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
* Strong client focus
