A leading IT provider is seeking a contracted SAP Security Lead to oversee and strengthen our SAP security framework, ensuring effective access controls and compliance. You'll lead a small team, manage key projects, and drive continuous improvement across our SAP environment. Strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a proactive mindset are essential for success in this role. This role is an initial 6 months with potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead SAP Security function, managing team workload, priorities, and development.
2. Lead IT Service Reviews with SAP GRC supplier; monitor and escalate performance issues.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP security/authorization issues.
4. Implement approved SAP Security changes.
5. Maintain and update technical SAP documentation.
6. Perform unit, integration, and performance testing - recommending improvements for supporting new business processes.
7. Act as Process Control Owner for GRC IT controls in SAP authorizations.
Requirements:
8. Strong understanding of SAP security architecture across products like ECC, CRM, BW, BI, EP, and BOBJ
9. Hands-on experience with ABAP Security, Portal Security, and SAP GRC 10/10.1
10. Proven track record in end-to-end SAP Security implementations, from initial planning to deployment
11. Experience in implementing and supporting SAP GRC Access Control and Process Control
