About Your New Job
As the electrical project manager, you will lead complex electrical installations from pre-construction to handover in the West of Ireland, ensuring all works are delivered on schedule, within budget and to client standards.
Main roles involved are:
Coordinate site activities, sub-contractors, and direct labour, implementing best-in-class safety and quality standards.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, design teams, and other stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
Take ownership of technical submissions, procurement schedules, and progress reporting, making critical decisions and driving project success.
Oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
Supervise onsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.
Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and changes as they arise.
Ensure that all electrical installations comply with relevant codes and standards.
Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with all team members and stakeholders.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, managing inventory and logistics.
What Skills You Need
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing electrical construction projects in Ireland or the UK.
Trade or degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Proven ability to manage all phases of projects independently, including commercial, H&S, and client relationship aspects.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Full driving licence required.
