A well-established industry business in Cork is looking to appoint a Tax Manager to join its finance team in a key in-house role.This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who wants to move into a broad, commercially focused position with real ownership across Irish tax. The role will have responsibility for corporation tax, Irish tax compliance, transfer pricing and all Irish corporate tax returns, while also partnering closely with senior finance stakeholders and external advisers.This position would suit someone coming from practice or industry who is looking for a visible role within a strong business where they can make a real impact.The RoleAs Tax Manager, you will take ownership of the company’s Irish tax matters and support the wider finance function on all related tax obligations.Key responsibilities will include:Managing all Irish corporation tax compliance obligations across the businessOverseeing the preparation, review and submission of Irish corporate tax returnsEnsuring compliance with all relevant Irish tax legislation and Revenue requirementsManaging the company’s transfer pricing obligations, including documentation and supporting analysisSupporting tax reporting and provisioning as part of the monthly and annual reporting cycleActing as the main internal point of contact for Irish tax matters across finance and the wider businessLiaising with external tax advisers, auditors and Revenue where requiredIdentifying tax risks and helping ensure appropriate controls and governance are in placeSupporting process improvements across tax compliance, reporting and internal controlsProviding practical tax support on wider commercial and operational matters as they ariseAbout YouQualified tax professional and/or ACA / ACCA / CTAStrong experience in Irish corporate taxProven background in corporation tax compliance, Irish tax returns and wider tax compliance mattersExperience with transfer pricing is highly desirableBackground gained in practice, industry, or a combination of bothStrong technical understanding of the Irish tax landscapeOrganised, detail-focused and capable of managing multiple deadlinesStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across finance and non-finance teamsCommercially minded with a proactive and hands-on approachWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageBroad, commercially focused in-house tax roleStrong visibility across the finance function and wider businessOpportunity to take ownership of a key tax position within industryLong-term career progression within a well-established organisationCork-based permanent opportunityThis is a strong opportunity for someone looking to step into a broad in-house tax role in Cork, with real ownership and the chance to contribute across both compliance and wider business matters.
