Job Description Summary:
Job objective:
This position will have responsibility for several Operations Teams within the Operations function ensuring compliance with all company standards and procedures. This position will report to the Senior Operations Director and is expected to play a key role as a member of the Coca-Cola Ballina Wider Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct and lead a team of Shift Managers to consistently deliver results in line with or better than Business Plan commitments.
* Lead engagement planning, people capability and people initiatives for all areas of responsibility.
* Actively manage budget control for all areas of responsibility.
* In conjunction with Project Engineering, identify scope and prepare capital request submissions and manage change control process for all areas of responsibility.
* Drive, manage and embed operational excellence and a continuous improvement culture within the team to deliver improvements through lean principles and systems.
* Deliver improvements on key KPI's.
* Coordinate safety, environmental and quality initiatives.
* Take a pro-active part in the monthly Supply Planning Process and weekly Production scheduling.
* Lead operational projects and participate in cross-plant projects.
* Participate in Corrective Action Systems Review, Materials Review Board and Capital Review process. Demonstrate clear accountability for timely completion of corrective and preventive actions to avoid repeats of Service and Quality defects.
Skills and Experience:
* Third Level qualification to a Diploma or Degree level in a Science or Engineering discipline.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment with a people management experience in a people focused, team-based environment.
* Possess excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and coach others to achieve results.
* Comfortable working in a team based, matrixed, ambiguous environment.
* Experience on TPM or Lean Manufacturing tools.
* Experience in Change Management.
* Certification in Lean Manufacturing an advantage.
* Excellent analytical, decision making, planning and project management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple conflicting demands and to prioritise accordingly.
* High level of PC literacy.
