Job Description: Job Title: Automation Test Lead Full Time Permanent Role Citywest Office Purpose We are embarking on an ambitious, multi-year technology transformation program and are seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead to join our team.Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.Operating within the Project Management Office, the position is a pivotal role which has high visibility and influence within the wider transformation program.Key Responsibilities / Outcomes A key member of the Test Function working under the Project Management Office, the Automation Test Lead will co-ordinate test activities across a number of projects, delivered using Waterfall or Agile methodologies.Support the Test Manager with all governance related activities.Ensure the right automation approach is documented and agreed.Possess an automation-first approach to deliverables.Have the ability to work with both automation and functional test teams.Comfortable analysing and agreeing tooling requirements with cross-functional teams.Comfortable with setting up both UI and API testing frameworks.Comfortable allocating work to the test teams across a number of projects, agreeing milestones for delivery with teams, and measuring progress against those milestones.Comfortable working with delivery teams in either Waterfall or Agile methodology (including Hybrid).Assist with test estimation activities.Responsible for reporting progress and issue escalation across a number of projects to the Test Manager.Confident in influencing and driving the various test teams to deliver against challenging timelines.Work with the Quality Team to ensure CSV compliance (including artefacts for evidence).Compile and communicate the weekly report across the portfolio.Assist with defining standards within test scripting, execution, and regression.Collaborate with the Functional Test Lead for cross-over test phases (e.g.regression).Collaborative approach happy to work with peers and senior stakeholders, and administer information to the test teams.Willingness to get involved in test scripting and execution to assist the automation engineers in times of heavy workload.Demonstrate a quality and delivery mindset.Suggest process and tooling improvements on a go-forward basis.Qualifications & Experience Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.6+ years as an Automation Test Lead in complex technology implementations in large-scale enterprises.Experience with multi-year technology transformation programs a plus.Experience coordinating multiple test teams to ensure deliverables meet project requirements and specified quality.Strong in-depth exposure to SDLC and STLC phases, Agile and Waterfall methods and delivery.7+ years writing functional automation scripts in C Sharp.4+ years experience testing REST APIs.Experienced in BDD/ATDD type delivery environments mocking services to write acceptance tests in parallel with development.Experienced with source control management.Strong experience with CI/CD and Azure Dev Ops.Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience a plus.ISTQB advantageous, or additional courses or certification in Quality Assurance.Experience across a range of technology and product stacks, in some or all of the following: ERP, WMS, CRM, e Commerce, digital, mobile apps, HRIS, SAP an advantage.Demonstrable experience of CSV, implementing projects in a Gx P regulated environment, or finance ISO standards as a substitute.Solid understanding of test automation and non-functional testing.Experience with mentoring testers and the transfer of knowledge.Teamwork and emotional intelligence, good self-management, high value on openness and transparency.
