Audit Manager – Non-Financial Risk & Capital Markets

Role Overview
The Audit Manager is a key position within the CRO and Capital Markets Audit Services Team, responsible for project management and end-to-end delivery of audit engagements.
Success is measured by comprehensive workpapers, high-quality audit reports, timely deliveries, mentorship of junior staff, process enhancements, and strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audit project teams, ensuring audit objectives and timeframes are met in accordance with Audit Department Policies and Standards.
Acquire and maintain strong working knowledge of business risks, controls, processes, relevant laws, regulatory rules, and system dependencies in the review areas.
Design and execute testing approaches, ensuring clear, concise workpaper documentation that supports reviews and decisions.
Identify efficiency opportunities through Data Analytics and collaborate with team members globally.
Communicate audit status proactively, leading discussions with stakeholders and management when issues or risks are identified.
Compile findings and recommendations that support status updates, memos, and audit reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships across the Audit Department and business stakeholders through insightful leadership.
Skills & Experience
Proven assurance experience in internal audit, external audit, monitoring, or testing functions within a financial institution or consulting environment.
Experience in capital markets auditing (advantageous but not mandatory).
Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, PRM, CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, ACCA) preferable but not required.
Ability to work independently, lead audit projects end-to-end, multitask across projects, engage senior stakeholders, and collaborate in a team environment.
Experience with audit workpaper applications such as Teammate (advantageous).
Adaptability and positive response in a changing, dynamic work environment.
Ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
Experience identifying opportunities to use data analytics methodologies.
