Audit Director
Azets Ireland is part of a 9,000‑strong international network of accounting and advisory firms. We support businesses across Ireland in audit, assurance, tax, payroll and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex audit engagements, ensuring quality delivery and strong client service.
Work closely with Partners on strategic initiatives and operational priorities.
Oversee planning, execution and completion of audits across varied industries and client sizes.
Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, building trusted and long‑term relationships.
Support business development, proposals and growth opportunities.
Review technical work, provide solutions and ensure compliance with auditing standards, FRS 102 and IFRS.
Manage staff allocations, mentor teams and contribute to performance development.
Promote continuous improvement, quality and a collaborative team environment.
Skills & Experience
ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
Significant experience at Senior Manager or Director level within audit.
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, FRS 102 and IFRS.
Experience managing complex audits across varied sectors.
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and team‑development capability.
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Proven ability to deliver high‑quality work and manage competing priorities.
