We are looking for an QA Engineer for an 6 Month rolling contract on a hybrid basis in Dublin -twice in a week.
Deloitte is scaling a dedicated test team to support one of Ireland's most significant public sector transformation programmes.
Operating at national scale within a highly regulated environment, this programme underpins critical state systems and services.
This is an opportunity to join a Big 4 consultancy on a high-visibility, engagement delivered under a 4-year framework with contractors joining 6-month rolling contract.
You'll be part of a Deloitte-led team working alongside established development and automation functions within a structured enterprise environment, contributing to the delivery of mission-critical applications that impact services across the country.
What you'll do; Develop comprehensive test plans and execute test suites for system, functional, API, and UI testing.
Manage defect tracking and analysis using Team Foundation Server (TFS) during UAT and other test cycles.
Conduct testing in cloud-based web application environments, ensuring performance and reliability.
Document and maintain testing standards, enhancing quality assurance processes.
Develop and manage manual, semi-automated, and automated test processes.
Analyse business needs to align testing strategies with business objectives.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams in an agile environment.
The skills you'll need: Proven experience in manual testing, particularly in system, functional, API, and UI testing.
Expertise in defect management using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain testing standards.
Proficiency in developing and managing various test processes.
Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
Ability to analyse business processes and translate them into effective testing strategies.
Strong communication skills to bridge business and technical teams.
ISTQB certification and familiarity with Microsoft Test Manager and automation tools are preferred.
