Basic Role Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced Warehouse Operation within Chanelle Pharma.
The Warehouse Operations Team Lead plays a critical role in the daily running of the warehouse, with responsibility for leading the operations team, ensuring compliance with GDP and SOP standards, and delivering high levels of service and accuracy across all warehouse activities.
The successful candidate will oversee daily operational duties, ensure timely completion of core weekly tasks (including stock control, cycle counting, picking/packing execution, and Controlled Drugs reconciliation), and support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining operational excellence.

As our Warehouse Operations Team Lead, your key responsibilities will be as follows:
Lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of the Warehouse Operations team.
Assign duties, manage workloads, and provide on-the-floor support to ensure activities are completed efficiently and to required standards.
Maintain responsibility for daily operational performance against KPIs, including DIFOT.
Ensure timely completion of daily tasks such as picking, packing, dispatch, put-away, and replenishment.
Conduct daily stand-up meetings and contribute to weekly cadence reviews with the Warehouse Manager.
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with GDP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
Oversee GDP training for warehouse operators with guidance from the RP, ensuring competence, retraining, and documentation accuracy.
Allocate SME support for specialised procedures and ensure procedural compliance across the team.
Manage and oversee cycle counting schedules in collaboration with SMEs.
Review and reconcile stock discrepancies promptly.
Perform stock-on-shelf verifications, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and system records.
Lead weekly Controlled Drugs counts and reconciliation activities.
Support and participate in annual stock takes, targeting *****%+ accuracy.
Identify and implement improvements in stock allocation, inventory procedures, and accuracy management.
Produce weekly stock control reports and participate in review sessions with management.
Oversee and process daily customer/store returns with appropriate team allocation.
Support the Goods Inwards team with put-away, stock verification, and accuracy checks when required.
Ensure customer orders are picked, checked, packed, and dispatched on time and to quality standards.
Ensure trucks are loaded safely, correctly, and professionally.
Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
Support cross-functional communication to resolve queries with Sales, Customer Service, QA, and other internal teams.
Assist with customer query resolution related to warehouse activities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and implementing agreed solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 2 years' warehouse experience, ideally in a regulated pharmaceutical or similar environment.
Proven experience in team supervision or team lead responsibilities.
Strong computer literacy (Excel and Word essential).
Experience in Inventory Management / Stock Control.
Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
