The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of industrial processes, data historian best practices, and a strong ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities
 * Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data historian solutions.
 * Lead efforts to integrate historian systems with various control systems and third‑party applications.
 * Conduct performance analysis and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
 * Design and configure complex data tags to meet specific project requirements.
 * Develop custom interfaces and connectors to enhance data integration capabilities.
 * Develop and implement advanced security measures to protect historical data.
 * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, taking a lead role in audits and assessments.
 * Investigate and resolve complex issues related to data collection, storage, and retrieval.
 * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.
 * Maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures.
 * Comply with Deep Digital's Quality Management System requirements by following process documents, procedures, and maintaining required records.
Qualifications
 * Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
 * Between 3 and 5 years of hands‑on experience with design, implementation, and leadership in projects involving AVEVA PI, AspenTech IP.21, AspenTech Inmation, Inductive Automation Ignition, and PTC Kepware.
 * In‑depth knowledge of data integration and historian system architecture and components.
 * Strong understanding of industrial processes and automation systems.
 * Expertise with data contextualisation, visualisation and reporting platforms.
 * Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
 * Previous experience in mentoring and leading a technical team.
 * Good communication skills.
