Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Staff Process Engineer to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in a strategic location.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical expertise in control systems, sensor technologies, and inspection systems used in automated manufacturing lines.
* Lead cross-functional stakeholders on requirements, improvements, needs, cost, and capacity initiatives that meet agreed upon transfer targets.
* Develop and implement solutions to improve efficacy, robustness, and reliability of control systems, sensors, and inspection hardware/software.
* Coach and mentor junior controls engineers.
* Resolve technical issues related to control systems, machine vision, servo systems, and sensor technologies used in automated manufacturing and test equipment.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent with 8+ years related experience.
* Strong background in implementing and supporting control systems, HMI's, sensor technology, servo drive technology, and machine vision systems into automated manufacturing equipment.
* Experience in medical device manufacturing highly desirable.
* Excellent technical problem-solving and risk management skills.
