Lead Social Care Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our residential care team as a Team Lead.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in ensuring safe, supportive and empowering environments that promote each young person's wellbeing, independence and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise, mentor, and support the social care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
2. Lead by example, modelling best practice in trauma-informed and child-focused care.
3. Support the Deputy Manager and Manager in the day-to-day running of the residential service.
4. Co-chair staff meetings, oversee daily handovers, ensure effective team communication monitor rosters to balance experience qualifications across shifts promote safeguarding quality compliance with HIQA/Tusla standards company policies participate staff supervision training audits on-call duties as required maintain documentation reports records GDPR standards complete audits reports incident reviews risk assessments document everything properly at all times prepare for inspections when necessary have deep knowledge qualification child development possess strong skills supervision management basic principles therapy work understand importance prioritizing individuals needs manage resources effectively see possibilities challenges everyday constantly thinking logical solve problems make difficult decisions communications responsibilities etc real passion dedicated honesty working closely teammates build trust provide guidance ideas.
