Functional Assessor Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct paper-based, face-to-face, video, or telephone assessments
\
2. Write clear, evidence-based reports (400-500 words), 5 per day + optional overtime
\
3. Provide detailed justifications to support NIDFC decisions
\
4. Ensure all assessments are conducted with professionalism, objectivity, and respect for the individuals being assessed
\
5. Maintain accurate records and adhere to organizational policies and procedures
\
6. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
\
7. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
\
8. Adhere to confidentiality agreements and maintain discretion when handling sensitive information
\
9. Meet productivity targets and performance metrics as set by management
\
10. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness
\
11. Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
\
12. Uphold the organization's values and code of conduct at all times
\
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management
\
14. Actively participate in professional forums and associations to stay updated on industry developments and best practices
\
15. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and administrative staff
\
16. Identify areas for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity
\
17. Represent the organization at external events, conferences, and meetings as required
\
18. Stay current with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines affecting the organization's services and operations
\
19. Other tasks as deemed necessary by management

20. Actively participate in peer review and mentorship programs to facilitate growth and development
