Sustainability & Risk Management
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing and dynamic Risk team. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in sustainability or ESG and be passionate about risk management, with a strong understanding of environmental, social, and governance events or conditions that could cause a negative material impact on the value of an investment.
The ideal candidate will have a third-level qualification in Finance, ESG related qualification, and previous experience in the implementation of at least two of the following: ESG, SFDR, Taxonomy Regulation, TCFD, or Sustainability Risk. They will also have knowledge of asset classes and their sub-categories and working with portfolio holdings files.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform ongoing monitoring of investment risks, including sustainability risks, of client funds to ensure that each continues to be managed in line with investment objectives, policy and within its investment risk and relevant regulatory restrictions.
* Liaise with fund's stakeholders such as investment managers, administrators, auditors, etc.
* Oversee the integration of sustainability risk into investment portfolios in order to assess and manage the exposures of those portfolios to sustainability risk.
* Advise on appropriate metrics to measure the different components of sustainability risk, namely, environmental, social, and governance.
* Identify different approaches to measure sustainability risk in sovereign debt, private debt, private equity, infrastructure, and real estate funds.
* Work with the implementation team to industrialise the production of sustainability risk for large number of funds.
* Support the Risk team with ad-hoc projects and initiatives, as needed.
