Leadership And Management

What the day will look like


* Lead multiple Pensions Administration teams in Dublin and Cork, setting out overall strategy, vision and purpose
* Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, engagement and service delivery that are aligned with wider business goals.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, and professional development.
* Drive process improvement and enhancements, leveraging automation where possible.
* Pro-actively manage the annual talent cycle activities with your team, ensuring follow up actions and providing continued development opportunities.

Operational Oversight

* Ensure the efficient administration of pension schemes, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the Centres of Excellence, ensuring best practices are shared and implemented across teams.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements.

Stakeholder Management

* Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients, and with Internal stakeholders including the Consulting, Actuarial and Investment practices
* Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and complex queries
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated service delivery

Risk Management

* Ensure robust risk management processes are in place.
* Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

How This Opportunity Is Different

The Head of Pensions Administration will be responsible for leading the Ireland team based in Dublin and Cork (c. 50 colleagues), ensuring efficient and effective administration of pension schemes. Reporting to the Head of Human Capital Operations, this role provides direct leadership to a team of 5-6 pension administration managers. This role also includes oversight of our Centres of Excellence, ensuring alignment with company standards and strategic objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leader to join the leadership team within the Pension Administration practice, and contribute to the successful operation of the practice. Working with the existing leadership team within the practice, the wider Human Capital business, and the HR function, this is a great opportunity to grow your career within Aon.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

* Qualified Financial Advisor qualification (QFA) or other relevant Professional Qualification (IIPM, PTP, RPA etc.)
* A minimum of 8-10 years direct relevant industry experience
* Prior experience in managing multiple teams demonstrating excellence in leadership, communications and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record in delivering results to an external client base through the effective management of teams and implementation of process improvements
* Experience of engaging and motivating a team to successful deliver desired business outcomes
* Demonstrate an understanding of the business commercial goals and how your role contributes to success
* Analytical and problem- solving skills
* Travel between Dublin and Cork may be required
