Food Production Manager
County Tipperary, Ireland (On-site)
Pantheon Talent & Consulting have partnered with a dynamic Food Company based in Munster, Ireland. Our client has invested in both infrastructure and people to further develop their business, which services clients and consumers in Ireland and globally.
We now have an excellent opportunity to join this progressive organisation as Production Manager within their Production facility.
This role will be report to the Site manager, and will manage all aspects of the day to day operations across the production facility.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations across the production facility.
Ensure Health & Safety compliance with all H & S legislation, internal procedures and best practice.
Ensure Quality Product is produced in line with client and company requirements.
Develop and implement process improvements; drive productivity targets.
Lead and develop staff; manage people and achieve productivity targets.
Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company goals in terms of productivity, quality, revenue growth and future development.
Innovate and bring new ideas to improve current production processes.
Qualifications
3rd Level Qualification in Food Science, Production Management or similar
Experience in managing production within a Food production (ideally Dairy environment)
Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements
Proven ability to manage people and achieve productivity targets
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Ability to manage all Health & Safety aspects of operations to ensure compliance with all H & S legislation, internal procedures and best practice.
Ensure Quality Product is produced in line with client and company requirements
Innovative thinker looking to bring new ideas and improve current production processes
Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally to achieve company goals in terms of productivity, quality, revenue growth and future development.
This role will attract Production Managers or Team Leads who have experience in Food/Dairy Production and who want to join a forward looking and innovative environment
Remuneration package on offer DOE.
