Seeking a Finance Administrator on an initial 6-month contract basis with a multi-National based in Cork. Ideal for individuals with a background in accounts and hybrid working options.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting and recording of variances at the agreed schedule.
* Providing all necessary Financial, statistical, or other information as required.
* Assisting with the preparation of financial and management reports on a monthly basis.
* Recording transactions in accounting systems.
* Creating new reports as needed.
* Processing and reviewing invoices, reports, and proposals before issuance.
* Conducting analysis on existing reports and issuing findings.
* Reconciling various reports to ensure figures and information are consistent.
* Liaising with departments to ensure accuracy in reports.
* Preparing audit files and ensuring all relevant information is included.
* Maintaining databases related to sales, forecasting, revenue, and system development within the Finance Department to optimize processing efficiency.
Requirements:
* Third-level finance/accounting qualification.
* Minimum 3 years' experience as an accounting technician/accounts assistant in a medium-large organization.
* Experience in preparing monthly accounts.
* Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills.
