 
        
        Senior Sustainability Consultant
Role Overview:
This key hire will lead environmental impact assessments, developing EIARs and AA/NIS reports for major renewable energy projects. They will provide strategic environmental planning expertise to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
Responsibilities:
 * Manage the full EIA process, producing EIARs and AA/NIS for large-scale renewable energy initiatives.
 * Provide expert environmental planning guidance to guarantee adherence to all pertinent legislation and policy.
 * Stay up-to-date on local and national environmental legislation and planning developments.
 * Support stakeholder engagement and consultation activities with local communities, statutory bodies, and other stakeholders.
 * Draft technical scopes for third-party services and assist with procurement processes.
 * Promote health, safety, and environmental best practices across all projects.
 * Mentor junior team members and contribute to ongoing professional development within the team.
 * Collaborate with colleagues from Planning, Engineering, and Senior Management to achieve strategic business objectives.
Requirements:
 * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
 * At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
