The role
Permanent whole time post
UCC wishes to appoint to the role of Lectureship in Nursing. The appointee will be expected to contribute to teaching, assessment and programme development and administration at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as engage in relevant research.
The successful appointee will hold a professional midwifery qualification, have held or hold a registration (or evidence of eligibility to register) in Nursing with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. Applicants will be expected to have an academic qualification to Masters level and be registered for or have completed a PhD/Doctorate. Applicants also expected to have considerable community health nursing experience.
Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Above the Bar) Salary Scale: €79,976 - €103,575 (Scale B)/€76,091 - €98,394 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
