About The RoleA rapidly growing mechanical services contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join their delivery team. This is a senior leadership role, ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can drive projects from early planning through to successful handover.You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining strong client relationships and high-quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of mechanical project delivery from pre-construction through completionDevelop and manage project programmes, budgets, forecasts, and resource plansLiaise with design, engineering, BIM, procurement, QA, and site teams to ensure coordinated project executionMonitor progress using internal project control systems and ensure compliance with reporting proceduresConduct regular site visits to review performance, safety compliance, workmanship, and programme statusIdentify risks early and implement mitigation strategiesManage subcontractors and suppliers, including contract administration and performance managementOversee financial performance, including cost control, cash flow management, and value engineering initiativesEnsure all works comply with mechanical standards, building regulations, and health & safety legislationPrepare weekly progress updates for clients and internal stakeholdersProduce monthly commercial and programme reports for senior leadershipCollaborate with directors and senior management to support business objectives and strategic planningBuild strong working relationships with clients and external stakeholders to support repeat business and long-term partnershipsRequirementsDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 5 years' experience managing mechanical or HVAC construction projects at Project Manager or Contracts Manager levelPrevious experience as a Project Engineer is highly desirableStrong technical knowledge of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC and process installationsProven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects simultaneouslyExcellent organisational, leadership, and communication skillsCommercially aware with strong budgeting and cost control experienceComfortable working under pressure to meet programme deadlinesWillingness to travel within Europe as requiredFull driving licenceWhat's On OfferCompetitive salaryHybrid working modelOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentCollaborative, professional working environmentApply today or contact Harry Kirk for more information.
