Reporting to an Assistant Chief Executive, the Senior Executive Officer is charged with the efficient leadership, management, direction and development of the department and function to which they are assigned.
Managers at this level work within defined parameters relevant to the position, in accordance with the LGMA's vision and objectives as set out in its Corporate Plan.
This is a senior managerial position responsible for leading on policy implementation, service delivery, stakeholder engagement, customer service, and change management in a dynamic and goal driven environment.

The Senior Executive Officer will be required to work closely with the Executive team, local authorities, government departments, external agencies, and relevant stakeholders to deliver the programme of work for their area, implement policy decisions and deliver on strategic corporate objectives.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams/functions and therefore be a highly motivated person, with a strong sense of commitment to delivering quality services and willing to take on a challenge.
