Role Overview
The Client Finance team handles all finance transactions related to our clients, with high engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include issuing payments, bank reconciliations, client statements, and addressing transaction queries.
This role requires supporting and collaborating with the Finance Department to deliver high-quality service. Cross-training across different finance areas will be essential for personal development and team resilience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage client accounts, including creating accounts, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and managing client communications.
* Support cross-training in other accounts to ensure team flexibility.
* Assist in debt management, post journals, process foreign currency payments, resolve client fund issues, and participate in finance projects.
* Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Experience
* Accountancy or business-related qualification; progressing towards or completed a recognized accountancy technician’s course is desirable.
* Insurance qualification (APA) is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in insurance or client portfolio management is a plus but not mandatory.
* Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with SUN/SAP or similar systems is preferable.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
* Calmness under pressure, ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, numeric skills, and follow-up on unresolved issues.
