Senior Automation Systems Engineer
Job Overview
As a Senior Automation Systems Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of automation control systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with requirements, execute comprehensive controls design documentation, and engage in full-cycle testing and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement automation control systems to meet business needs.
* Lead comprehensive controls design documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Engage in full-cycle testing and validation, including simulation, debugging, FAT and SAT activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, ideally in a senior or lead role.
* 3+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment (Pharma, Life Sciences, Biotech or Medical Devices).
* Expertise in Allen Bradley systems, including servo motion control and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
* Strong knowledge of Ethernet/IP, IO-Link and other industrial communication protocols.
* Familiarity with robotics and vision system integration is an advantage.
