Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead our pre-contract cost control and advisory services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
About the Role:
* Pre-contract cost planning and advice to design teams and clients
* Preparation of pre-contract documents, including bills of quantities and tender submissions
* Post-contract functions, including interim recommendations, cost reporting, and final account reconciliations
* Training and development of junior quantity surveyors
Key Responsibilities:
* Estimating and cost planning for large-scale construction projects
* Preparing contract documentation, including tender responses and project-specific reports
* Compiling cost reports and providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders
* Agreeing final accounts with clients and resolving contractual claims
* Attending meetings with clients, design team members, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified quantity surveyor with chartered status preferred
* Strong commercial awareness and ambition to progress within the organization
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
