The main aim of the role is to carry out basic testing and to master the range of techniques appropriate for the work area.
Responsibilities include:
1. Becoming familiar with work practices and documentation requirements.
2. Gaining insight into the company's processes and procedures, including customer awareness, lab safety, and efficiency.
3. Acting on own initiative and learning tests as required.
4. Gaining proficiency in specific tests or testing areas.
5. Performing qualified techniques/tests as per training records and supervisor instructions.
6. Ensuring documentation and calculations are completed accurately and timely.
7. Keeping training records updated and initiating further training when possible.
8. Adhering to safety, housekeeping, and quality standards, and reporting discrepancies.
9. Meeting customer requirements and being flexible to work in different areas.
10. Identifying opportunities for quality and service improvements and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Applicants with BSc/MSc qualifications are accepted.
* Experience with Chromatography techniques, including HPLC & UPLC, GC, CE, ICE, LCMS.
* Experience in Large Molecule Testing.
* Good team player, organized, accurate, with strong documentation skills.
* Passionate about quality and customer service.
