Senior Contracts Manager - Main Contractor (Construction) Location: South Dublin preferred, with the option to be based from Carlow Base Salary: €110,000€135,000 DOE Hours: Full-time, permanent Package: Vehicle, mileage, pension, bonus, and additional benefits About the Role Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join a well-established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building projects across Ireland.
This position will take a leading role in managing multiple projects, with current work in South and Southwest Dublin (Educational & Healthcare Projects), alongside further projects within the pharmaceutical sector.
The company has a long-standing management team, an excellent pipeline of secured work, and places strong emphasis on professional development, project quality, and long-term progression.
The successful candidate will oversee several project teams, support strategic planning, and take responsibility for delivering programme, cost, safety, and client satisfaction outcomes across all assigned works.
Salary & Benefits €110,000€135,000 DOE Vehicle and mileage covered Pension included Performance Bonus Strong career progression and long-term development Further benefits discussed at interview Responsibilities Lead overall project delivery across several active construction schemes (two initially) Guide project teams on programme, quality, design coordination, and risk Ensure contractual obligations are understood, managed, and reported on Maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and key partners Oversee procurement planning and monitor subcontractor performance Support site management with technical queries and construction solutions Drive health and safety standards across all sites under your remit Review cost reports, resource planning, and progress updates regularly Support senior leadership with forecasting, planning, and team development Attend key meetings and represent the contractor at senior project stages Requirements Degree in engineering, construction management, trade qualification or related discipline 12+ years experience in main contracting (Irish/UK Tier 1/2) with strong leadership exposure Proven record managing multiple large projects simultaneously Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contractual processes Excellent communication skills with a collaborative leadership style Ability to guide project teams and support technical decision-making Full Irish driving licence required Irish or UK experience at a Senior CM/PM level required For additional information and a confidential discussion on this and similar opportunities, contact Shane Fleming on or email.
