Fairview Family Practice is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established training practice in Dublin 3 with a friendly, knowledgeable admin & medical team serving the local community for many years.
This is a permanent full-time position.
About the role:
You will work closely with our 4-GP team, and efficient admin staff to deliver high-quality nursing care in a training practice located in the heart of Fairview, within walking distance of the DART.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide high quality nursing care to patients in a 4-GP practice.
Cervical Check Screening.
Infant & Childhood Immunisations.
Chronic Disease Management assessments and follow up.
Adult vaccination.
Venepuncture.
Wound care.
Ear care.
ECG recording and 24hr ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
Health promotion and education.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in general nursing in Ireland.
Membership of An Bord Altranais/NMBI is required.
Fluent in English both written & spoken
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Practice nurse experience is desirable but not essential as training can be provided
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
