We are currently seeking an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary client's team in Dublin. This is a permanent opportunity within a dynamic and collaborative consultancy offering excellent career progression, supported by structured mentoring and leadership development. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in leading projects, managing client relationships, and supporting the growth and development of the engineering team. You will work across a diverse portfolio including Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Pharma, and Data Centre projects. Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of multiple projects from concept through to completion Oversee the design of mechanical building services, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations Manage and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and leadership Act as a key client interface, representing the company at meetings and project reviews Contribute to business development, including client engagement and project bidding Ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and commercial awareness across all projects Requirements: 10+ years' post-graduate experience in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering Level 8/9 degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Chartered Engineer status (or close to achieving) is highly desirable Strong track record in delivering projects across multiple sectors Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and design software such as IES or Hevacomp Strong understanding of energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively Full driver's licence and access to own transport Benefits: Competitive salary (DOE) Hybrid or remote working options Supportive and flexible working environment Company pension scheme Life and long-term illness cover 22 days annual leave Paid professional memberships Ongoing CPD and leadership development programmes Apply now for immediate consideration or call Shakeel Kazmi in confidence for more details.
