Optum is seeking a skilled Healthcare Systems Specialist to install, configure, and maintain the Epic client. As an essential member of our team, you will ensure seamless communication of application and infrastructure changes across the enterprise.
About the Role
The Healthcare Systems Specialist will be responsible for:
* Installing, configuring, maintaining, and deploying the Epic client on Microsoft Windows servers
* Maintaining and supporting Epic ancillary services such as Hyperspace and Interconnect
* Managing Change Control processes for all Epic environment build migrations and infrastructure upgrades
* Monitoring system performance and reviewing Sherlock and Galaxy notes to apply routine upgrades
* Assisting in integrating other applications with Epic using web services
* Implementing system high availability strategies and mechanisms
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
* Experience working with Windows Administrators or Citrix
* Knowledge of SQL Administration and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
