Job Summary
The Mobile Device Specialist role is designed to oversee the entire lifecycle of enterprise mobile devices, from provisioning and configuration to security and maintenance. Key responsibilities include deploying mobile devices for users, managing profiles and applications, and integrating with various platforms such as Apple Business Manager and Android Enterprise.
1. Device Management:
* Manage the entire device inventory, including tracking ownership, status, and lifecycle milestones.
* Enforce password requirements, encryption, and remote wipe capabilities.
2. Security and Compliance:
* Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities on mobile devices in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.
* Ensure compliance with mobility standards and applicable security guidelines.
3. Support and Troubleshooting:
* Provide technical support for mobile device issues, including hardware failures, connectivity problems, and application malfunctions.
* Coordinate with vendors for device repairs or replacements.
4. Lifecycle Management:
* Track mobile device usage metrics and provide insights for improvement.
* Maintain updated documentation on mobile configurations, policies, and procedures.
