Overview
Quality Supply Planner role at Catalyx – Catalyx is seeking a Quality Supply Planner to join our team on a customer site in Cork. The Quality Supply Planner reports to the Quality Department and has end-to-end oversight of the production, testing and release plans for the site. This role works closely with the relevant coordinators to schedule work in line with business requirements and to adjust the site production plan accordingly on the SAP system. This is a site strategic role in ensuring timely Product Release and on-time delivery of material to the customer.
Responsibilities
* Attends the daily site Value stream boards weekly planning meetings
* Coordinates inspection lot end dates and lead times on SAP with the various business units in the supply chain
* Works closely with Production and Supply chain functions ensuring fast response to unforeseen changes or requests
* Liaise with Production, Quality and Supply Chain depts to adjust inspection lot ends dates accurately appropriately when lots are received on site, and when issues arise during production, testing or release
* Monitor issues and delays against lots throughout the supply chain, perform impact assessments against the site Plan and adjust accordingly
* Communicate planning changes and impact between Supply Chain and Operations functions
* Tracking progress of lot, manage KPI reporting and analysis
* Refine the current business process for management of inspection lot end dates on SAP
* Strong communication skills and active participation in key business process meetings (Trade Zone, Weekly business review, IBP cycle meetings)
* Product quality compliance with GXP; including appropriate reporting and escalation of any product quality or GXP incidents or non-compliance
Skills/Knowledge
* Supply Chain experience and familiarity with scheduling
* Organisation skills/Project Management
* SAP experience desirable
* Manufacturing Execution Process knowledge
* Quality and GMP knowledge/experience beneficial
* Proven excellent communication skills/ communicates effectively
* Negotiation skills
* Proven meeting facilitation skills in a cross-functional environment / working group or workshop–based environment
* Result-driven, target oriented; demonstrates optimism and 'Can Do' attitude
* Excellent understanding of business processes and quality principles and practices, across internal and external environments
* Understanding for the technical requirements of cross functional units
* Project Management Skills / Lean six sigma methodology – Would be a plus
* Professionalism and maturity required to effectively interact with senior management
Education
* Degree level – primary degree in business, science or engineering discipline
* 4 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry a GMP environment
* BSc in Supply Chain/Operations/Business/Quality
