Job Title: Support Worker
The position of a Support Worker is a temporary role in a residential care setting, providing compassionate and person-centered care to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with personal needs including meal support and mobility assistance
* Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor changes in resident conditions
* Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all residents
* Foster social activities that promote engagement among residents
* Accurately record provided care according to organizational policies
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and resilience. A FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or higher is required; experience working with individuals having intellectual disabilities is advantageous.
