What You'll Do:
Lead the ED Team: Guide and support a multidisciplinary Emergency Department team, including NCHDs, nursing, and allied health professionals.
Deliver High-Quality Care: Provide fast, effective, and evidence-based treatment to patients in a busy emergency setting.
Drive Innovation: Contribute to service development and quality improvement projects aligned with the hospital's strategic goals.
Collaborate Across Specialties: Work closely with colleagues in acute medicine, surgery, ICU, and hospital management to enhance patient flow and service delivery.
Education & Research: Support the teaching of medical students and trainees, and participate in academic activities linked to UCC where appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years post-CCT experience in Emergency Medicine.
Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
A commitment to excellence in patient care and continuous improvement.
Active IMC Specialist Registration (or eligible) in Emergency Medicine.
