Position Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive part-time (up to 2 days per week - this can be tailored as half days or full days) Accounts Technician to join our team at Green Crowd. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, payroll, supporting the finance team, and assisting with accurate financial reporting and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of accurate accounting records
* Processing purchase invoices and payments
* Monthly bank reconciliations and VAT returns
* Preparation of management accounts
* Ability to finish accounts up to trial balance
* Payroll
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
This role is office based in Carlow.
